I've owned several pairs of
7111 for work,and have always felt they were well made, but
this is unforgivable. You cannot buy original style laces for
them from Michael Kors Pipi or anyone else I know of. Spoke to
a factory representative at a trade show and he basically said
tough luck, we don't sell laces. All replacements are thinner
by an 1/8". I like the looks of the shoe and it will go with
most business casual clothes. I walk back in our manufacturing
area alot and it's good to have a thicker sole for protection.
The shoe felt a little more narrow than most shoes this size.
So if you have a wide foot, be warned. Unfortunately, I didn't
try this shoe on before I bought it. I'm not over enthusiastic
about the shoe, but it's good enough to keep in rotation.
Awesome work shoe. I am a big
guy and need a comfortable shoe to be on my feet all day and
Pipi Pump are the best. They hold up very well and support my
foot better than any shoe I have tried. Bought these shoes for
my husband and he I might add, is very fussy. He totally liked
these shoes for work. Said they were comfortable and were of a
good quality leather and was true to size as well. Delivery
was fast and communications was excellent. Will definitely do
business again. |
