I had a 15 year-old pair of
Niki Platform, it was time for retirement. Decided to go with
the soft insole, glad I did. It's a comfy one. I purchased the
Berkenstock, at the advice of a physical therapist, to help
with severe pain in have in both feet. The pain resonates in
my heals due to a condition known as plantar faciatis. So far
the sandals are helping but not completely taking away my
pain. I do like the look and feel of these sandals. Only
drawback is the price-at bit high. I purchased a pair for
myself in brown, and one for my boyfriend in black. We both
enjoy them. I have
worn Birkenstocks a lot, but this is the first pair I have had
with the soft footbed. What a difference; I will never go back
to the other kind after wearing these. They are well worth the
price difference; they are so much softer. I am definitely
hooked on Birkenstocks; my other shoes just sit in the closet.
These are very comfortable with good arch support. They're so
ugly they are actually cute. Go with the narrow even if you
have W width. Softer than regular/classic Birks...comfy. I
wear a 6 1/2 - 7 and I took a 37. A real Niki Pump is so much
better than a fake birk. No break in period needed. |
