I bought these to try the soft
footbed shoe and they are wonderful! The worst part is that
now I wish all the Birkenstocks were soft footbed. I hope to
see more of this footbed available- in fact, I think they
might as well just make only soft footbed. They are so
comfortable, especially for all day wear! I have plantar
faciitis and these have been very soothing to wear. If you
love Birkenstocks you will love the soft bed Birks even more!
They don't need to be broken in like the regular Birks. These
are the most comfortable pair of sandals I own! I bought this
sandal because I heard of the soft footbed. I like it very
much and recommend it to anyone.
Like: Good workmanship and
quality. Comfy. Durable Mcgwar Shoes, Good fit.Dislikes: Suede
straps are floppy so it takes some work to get my feet in
them. Buckle holes seem to either make things too loose or too
tight. Takes a while to soften the stiffness of the sole.
Thick suede straps make my feet sweat...I will get the
Birkenstock Ibiza model next time. I bought these after a less
expensive brand wore out. They are really comfortable. The
soft footbed is great. They are a solid shoe, high quality,
and great fit. They were so comfortable from the first moment
I put them on. There was absolutely no break in period. I will
definitely purchase these and others from Michael Kors again.
This is the best sandal in
the world, especially for those of us with "problem" feet.
Completely comfortable, no break-in period, very supportive,
there is absolutely nothing negative to say. For years, I was
unable to wear Birkenstocks because of the hard footbed (I
have extreme etatarsalgia)-- this is the answer. Wearing them
is even better than wearing a shoe with my custom orthotics!
sling I sure do hope that Birkenstock starts making shoes
(other than clogs) with the soft footbed before I have to give
up my sandals due to weather! |
