I have always wanted to buy
Birk's. I finally gave in and bought them. They are
comfortable, but the first couple of days I had some pain in
my foot and ankle, but after that it feels like you are not
wearing anything. The soft foot bed is nice. I feel like this
model is larger than the same I bought years ago. I have the
front buckle on the last hole and the tab is curling up. I
have the second buckle at the second to last hole and that tab
is curling up as well. This is true for both feet, but the
worst part is the black suede is bleeding and staining my
feet. I feel I wasted money on this pair of Birkenstocks. This
sandal is very comfortable with or without socks. My last pair
lasted apprx. 10 years with frequent wear.
After listening to my husband
rave about Cary Loafer for almost 40 years, I bought my first
pair, and am hooked. The sizes run large (and I'm used to
buying European-sized shoes) in length and width, but I was
warned about that by another reviewer so ordered two pairs and
kept the best fitting one. The soft footbed is very nice and
it is an overall great sandal. I've had four or five pairs of
Birks before, but this is my first with the soft footbed,
which I love. When I first tried them on, I didn't think it
would make much difference, but I had zero break-in time with
these, and I think it does make a difference at the end of the
day.I have heard great things baout Birkenstock and decided to
give them a try. I wore this shoe for 2 days here and there
and then went to NYC. I walked around NYC for 5 days and not a
blister, rubbing spot or any cutting in. Totally comfortable.
I could not believe it. Maybe not the most feminine looking
shoe, but definitely one of the most comfortable!! I have
never had a soft footbed Cary Shoes before. I really love them
and will buy them whenever they are available in a style I
like. The Arizona is a classic design and it doesn't
disappoint. These are a great style for those of us with very
wide feet. I can wear these without having them on the last
notch, which is rare for me, even with Micahel Kors. Extremely
comfortable. |
