I love the soft footbed; it
makes the Birkenstocks extremely comfortable and quick to
break-in. I got them for a great price from Michael Kors I own
them in two colors (taupe and navy) and wear them whenever I
can. After owning several different Birkenstock styles during
a 15 year time, I have come to the conclusion that this one is
best. As I a have a narrow foot with heel spurs, this one with
adjustable straps and the soft heel is awesome. It is the best
sandal on the market. I just wish Birkenstock would make more
of their shoes with the extra soft heel. One hint: if you get
shoes made of suede, spray them with suede spray before
wearing by covering the inner sole with paper or a cloth. My
black suede Arizona's dye ended up on my foot when caught in a
rain storm with them. If you spray them that won't happen.
I have plantar fascilitis and
let me tell you, these Annabel Boots sure helped me with the
pain. Nothing else seemed to work. I've tried different shoes,
heel cups and night splints. After only four days of wearing
these it was like magic, the pain was less and less and
eventually has since subsided almost completely. I think the
soft footbed is the key as it seems to have more cushioning
compared to the regular Annabel. If you've got PF, then
definitely give these a try! I love this shoe. The arch is a
bit lower when you add the soft footbed. I did go down in size
from what was suggested. I wear a 39 in this shoe, but a 40
was suggested for a 9 1/2 US size. I recommend that you try
them on. Go as short as you can, rather than longer for your
foot. This is easy with Anna Boots, since you can return free. |
